 Looking for Healthy snack alternativesMar 28, 2008

I got thinkGreen Bars of this one (Peanut Butter Chocolate) and the Cranberry Apple and the Blueberry Noni. The Blueberry and Cranberry Apple were REALLY good, but the Peanut Butter Chocolate not so much. The taste seemed bitter, and it might be from one of the ingredients being a liquer, I don't know. I would DEFINITELY try the other flavors they have in the thinkGreen and thinkOrganic Bars, though.

I have many dietary limitations, and because I'm a celiac it's hard to find green supplements that I can safely eat. These bars are surprisingly good! I always take a bunch when I travel, they're handy to have around and a good meal/snack substitute in a pinch.

I've tried virtually every nutrition bar out there and this one tops my list. I would not only rate it as my favorite "health" bar, but also #1 in any category. It's not your conventional peanut butter and chocolate combination, so don't expect a run of the mill product. It is unique and delicious. Rarely do I find a bar that lasts. Usually I'll like it for a while, then it gets old. This particular flavor has staying power. Every time I have one, I find myself reaching for another. Toss in the health benefits and it's a no-brainer. Definite 10 out of 10.

I get these for my teenage daughter who is a celiac and a vegetarian. She loves the taste and I feel like these bars are a pretty healthy snack and especially good for when she forgets to make a lunch. The taste is not for everyone, so you might want to try a single from your local store before committing to the box of fifteen!

Wow, I've not had anything this horrible tasting in a long time. I could smell it from across the table and it made me nauseous just smelling it. As great as an easy shot of greens would be, this is not the way to go! Blech!!!
