Spend a little more and buy Stove TopApr 15, 2009
By E. Jacob Shellman Based on the other review, which comments on the oily texture, we put in about half as much butter as is called for, and the texture is still not very good (mushy and grainy), in comparison to Stove Top. [...]

VERY RICH - NEEDS IMPROVEMENTNov 05, 2006
By B. P. Lunham I love stuffing and dressing & Zatarain's products but this mix falls short. It calls for one half stick of butter and the cooked product is really oily. Butter is all you can taste. Perhaps more cornbread would help? Also the product is bland. I hope to see a "New & Improved" package of Zatarain's Cornbread Stuffing Mix on the supermarket shelves soon! There rice mixes are wonderful.
Best stuffing mix on the marketNov 30, 2010
By MJ I had the Zatarains New Orleans Style Cornbread Stuffing Mix this Thanksgiving and it was far better than any homemade or Stove Top stuffing I have eaten in my 44 years of marriage. A little sauted onions and celery added to the mix made it outstanding. I was certainly hoping to have it again for Christmas and was highly disappointed to learn it has been discontinued. Please, Zatarains, bring it back!
...then use less butter or margarineNov 02, 2010
By T. A. Bacon If the amount of butter recommended makes the stuffing too "oily" for your taste, then use less butter or margarine. This is the best stuffing on the market based upon both taste and texture.
good zesty flavorSep 21, 2009

The stuffing has a good zesty flavor, much more flavor then the Stove Top Cornbread.
