I love YummyEarth Organic Lollipops, Assorted Flavors, 5-Pound Bag flavors - each and every one. This butterscotch flavor does not compare. The assorted fruit flavors are every bit as tasty as the chemical-laden ones and when you give one to a child they will not notice that you are giving them a healthy substitute. However, the butterscotch tastes like an inferior substitute for the real thing. When given to someone, they may ask what is it as it really doesn't taste like butterscotch. Unlike the other reviewer, I wouldn't say they are vile; they are quite edible but simply taste like a healthy substitute rather than a decadent treat. We will finish the ones we purchased but probably not re-order these; the assorted flavors are a definite reorder to keep in stock though!

I have to start by saying that I love Yummy Earth candies. I have bought the lollipops and candy drops in other flavors. I read many good reviews about the Hopscotch Butterscotch flavor so I ordered them.
They taste NOTHING like Butterscotch. They smell horrible and taste even worse. Now I'm stuck with 4 pouches of these.

I like the Yummy Earth candy and the Hopscotch Butterschotch is my absolute favorite flavor.
It reminds me of a butterscotch type candy I used to eat growing up in Holland.
My son didn't like it, so it's not for everyone.
I love it though!
One thing I like about these candies is that they contain only about 70 calories (0 fat) for 5 candies. Sucking on these helps to stop my cravings for higher calory foods. So they actually help me when I need to loose a few pounds. :)

I love the lucky lime by this company but the butterscotch and the lemon were so bad I threw it out.

I love these! I'm not sure why other people don't think they taste like butterscotch, they're dead on to me. Silky, buttery, delicious. Seriously good. I haven't had a YummyEarth Organic Candy Drop I didn't like (yet - there are still a few more flavors to try!).
