YUMMYDec 15, 2008

I love this sauce. For years now I have used this sauce as a marinade for pork tenderloin and everyone loves it and asks for the "recipe". If you are looking for traditional teriyaki - this is NOT IT - it is sweeter and thicker than most teriyaki sauce and does have a pineapple flavor to it. We love it and would recommend it highly.

High quality stuffMar 02, 2008
By Danielle Kudelka I was actually introduced to this by a cook where I work, and yes it has a very distinct flavor. Hawaiian style Teriyaki is much sweeter, less salty, and thicker than your average grocery store stuff, which is more like Japanese style. I used it to marinade chicken, and it was the deepest marinade that my friends and my mother had ever seen. I personally liked the flavor and like to pair it with ginger and pineapple. Perhaps it is because I was given a heads up that it would be different than what I was used to, but I thought it was pretty amazing and I plan to order some and give them to my family and friends who also like it.

Tasted absolutely horrible to me...Apr 27, 2007

Taste is of course a very individual thing, but I ordered these assuming it'd be just like Kikoman teriyaki sauce, but instead it was just horrible. The taste was just off, and I ended up pouring them down the drain.

Not teriyaki as I like itJul 29, 2008
By Patricia Smith For some reason the taste of this is all off for me. I love teriyaki and order it in any form when out. This does not taste like teriyaki to me. May be just me but to use the rest of the amount I purchased I will have to doctor it up a bit. Will not buy again. Sorry.
