Having used many Wind & Willow mixes in the past and needing Christmas presents, as well as a light dessert for the Holiday Season. Out of blatant curiosity, I searched Amazon for these mixes. And, much to my delight, my FAVORITE Cheeseball/Dessert mix was in stock! Having paid as much as $9 EACH in specialty stores and boutiques, I was delighted to find that I could purchase 6 for under $20. The mixes are simple and require a short ingredient list that most people usually have in their homes (cream cheese and margarine). Plus, it makes, quite simply, a beautiful cheeseball OR a delicious pie. I had previously purchased seasonal serving dishes and tea towels. So, some of the mixes were given as gifts and received rave reviews my my discerning friends. Order and enjoy!

I made the pie on the box but used 1/4 cup of butter rather than peanut butter because I can't eat than much peanut butter. It was really good, my husband loved it and he would not usually choose pie as a desert. BUT....the chocolate chips themselves are very hard and they are dark chocolate, and not a very good quality. I am an avid baker and these were just too bitter for me and hard enough to be stale. Also, there was too much tang for a sweet dessert and would not really be any better for a sweet dip.
It just wasn't as GREAT as the others I tried. However, if my husband will eat this pie, it's got to be really good. It just wasn't for me.

Wind & Willow makes great desert mixes. They require only a few ingredents and is very easy to put together. This Chocolet Chip mix makes a great pie. Everyone will want the "recipe".
