5FAT IS GOOD--This is EXCELLENTApr 19, 2011
By Mandy "mandy"
I use this in my steel cut oats when I cook them overnight--YUM!

Dairy isn't evil. Fat isn't evil. And animal products aren't evil. Processed, fake, carb-laden white sugar/flour products are our problem. Eat what tastes good and is healthy and as close to the way nature intended it as possible. If you can't keep fresh cream on hand, THIS beats those other creamer-chemical powders in every way.

Great product.

5Remember the old creamers?Mar 06, 2011
By Shelly Marshall "Day By Day"
Remember the old creamers when you were a kid? (only baby boomers will remember this). We used to eat the powered creamer by the spoon becasue it was so good. And then researchers mistakenly said that "dairy" was bad for the heart and everything went to chemicals? The new chemical creamers are yucky--but if you want to return to the good old days--this is it!!!

5Going to agree with Mandy on this one!!!Apr 21, 2011
By G. Arnott "Happy Camper"
RIGHT ON MANDY! Since WHEN is a chemical product BETTER for you then the real deal? Bottom line...they are NOT better for you. This product was purchased for coffee creamer. I purchased the Nido (pack of 3 whole milk) powder from Amazon and mixed a can of that along with this powder and let me tell you....it has liquid half and half beat by a country mile and don't even get me going on how much better it is that that FAKEY powder creamer crap. SO....I am givin' this review up to Mandy because I read hers and totally agreed and the FIRST person to review this product convinced ME to purchase it. WHEN this is back in stock I will get more. Any doubts still? Read up on artificial creamers and SEE what the "long term" effects from ingesting that can be....it's scary! By the way I vacuumed packed my "mix" and got 3 nice size bags of product.

5Where have you been all my life?Dec 09, 2011
By M. Hauser
Providing you haven't been permanently indoctrinated by the food police and medical researchers (who change their recommendations every 5-10 years without so much as an apology for their previous now-proved-incorrect recommendation) against the use of all fats and butterfat in particular, this can be a very useful, convenient, and I suspect healthy product. There is no end to the ways one might profitably use this product - - - as a coffee creamer, in preparation of hot cocoa, mashed potatoes, to fortify non-fat yogurt with the fat that was supposed to be there in the first place but was removed by the powers-that-be, etc., etc., etc. The secret to using it successfully so that it mixes well in liquids is this: place the amount of powder you wish to dissolve in a cup, glass, or other container, then add a VERY small quantity of liquid (milk, soy milk, hemp milk, rice milk, etc. all work well) and stir briskly with a spoon (plastic does the trick) until dissolved. This takes only a few seconds. The important thing is to resist the temptation to add more liquid than required initially - - - the amount of liquid should be less than required to cover the powder. After stirring well for a few seconds you will have a very serviceable liquid cream to which you can then add the amount of total liquid you wish to use, stirring again as you do so. I find it works better as a coffee creamer if the liquid cream is stirred well with somewhere between 2 oz and 6 oz of milk, soy milk, hemp milk, etc. before using. Otherwise it has a very strong cow's milk taste which some may find unpleasant. This method of preparation works well also for mashed potatoes. When using in something with the consistency of yogurt, just add a spoonful or so straight, without prior dissolving, and stir well for a moment. With proper use this product is so convenient, tastes so good, and improves the consistency and texture of certain foods so much you will not want to do without it once you try it. Oh, and if you are hesitating because of the price, keep in mind that a little bit goes a long, long way and the product has a long shelf life without requiring refrigeration.

5Just a little cream to make it smooth!May 17, 2011
By Virginia Davenport "Mountain Granny"
The reason I am trying this out is because I use instant dry milk and to make it taste smoother I wanted to add just a little cream. I have added the liquid but since I live a long way from a store I needed something that would keep for a long time. This really works. I was a little worried that the expense of the jar would be prohibitive to use on a regular basis but you only need a tablespoon to a half-gallon of mixed milk to give it a creamier taste, that is at least for me). I am sure if you used this product in puddings or other milk products it would work just fine. I did use it to make yogurt and the taste was great.
