Didn't notice that it contained SplendaJan 12, 2007
By ili I bought this b/c it was supposed to be all natural. I didn't see that it contained Splenda. It was disgustingly sweet. If you're into artificial sweeteners then this product might be alright.
Some flavors good, some not so much.Oct 13, 2009
By BlackHawk So there are 4 flavors in this pack Mild Hickory, Teriyaki, Pepperoni, Hot & Spicy flavors. The mild hickory is a full 5 stars - it's good and I'd order it again. The Pepperoni is 4 stars. It is good, worth eating, but the Mild Hickory I would choose every time. Hot & Spicy was 2.5 stars - it was edible, but I really had to choke it down, not to mention I didn't notice it being hot or spicy, just a bit better than nasty. Now the Teriyaki - OMG did they screw this up. This is 0 of 5 stars, maybe -1 stars. I didn't notice ANY Teriyaki flavor, I could taste some sort of meat but it was greasy, and seemingly oily and just BAD. I did choke it down but I wont be buying the Teriyaki ever again. If you want to try Teriyaki, try just once piece somehow as I really couldn't imagine ANYONE would like this flavor. (You'll REALLY hate it if you like Teriyaki flavored snacks!)

I bought some of these at Gander Mountain today and it taste great. Did not know Amazon sold Wide Ride. Should of checked before paying more at Gander. Will buy from Amazon next time.

All varieties were lacking in flavor. The lack of a durable outside casing detracts from the eating experience. (No, I do not like soft pickles either). I will not be purchasing again. Stick with King B, Jack Links.
The Worst Jerky Ever!Feb 26, 2007

This is truly an awful product. When I received it, the box had been torn open (probably Amazon's fault). The packaging was extremely difficult to open. You need both hands and a pair of scissors. The taste was terrible. I love beef jerky, but this has to be the worst flavor ever! I think I'll donate the rest to the food bank.
