5For the troopsOct 12, 2011
By Karee
I sent this to my husband in Iraq for him and the guys to have something other than MRE's to eat. They got a good laugh from a case of Beanee Weenee's coming from home and they all got to enjoy some. :)

5Great for troopsJun 11, 2011
By Sandra L. Thornton "typingterror"
This is a touch of home for our troops overseas who get tired of the military food and they can take it on missions. Price is great also.

5Great for Charity Donations Too!Jul 16, 2010
By Head of the Bay "Chesapeake Kat"
These easy to keep and easy to open packages are ideal for donating to local charities. These are good for the elderly and children. We have Amazon drop-ship them directly to our favorite charity. Our charity targets children and when asked what I can send, they ask for these. They are bit more expensive than some items that could be donated, but the kids love these!

5Hurricane SuppliesApr 04, 2012
By Mantis
When hurricane season approaches, we pick these up for emergency food rations. They taste delicious! We also like to eat them when there are no emergencies. They contain chicken hot dogs with beef in tomato sauce.

I usually warm mine on the stovetop, dice some green bell pepper and toss some instant rice into it. The individual serving sized cans with metal pull tab lids are convenient. One serving provides 240 calories.

I haven't been able to find Beanee Weenee's since I moved to CT from TN. They're even better than I remember.
