NOTE: the item pictured is not the correct product. I found this one by the PRODUCT NUMBER (T4817) to replace an identical one on which the Year band had expired. I've added customer images to the product page. The one pictured by Amazon is a 4750. The Trodat T4817 is a decent line-dater at a good price w/ multi-purpose titles. Self-inking makes it far more handy than a conventional date-stamper for which you have to open a separate ink pad that takes up that much more space on your desk.

I used to have a Cosco Plus message dater stamp that is no longer available. This stamp is a great solution for our office to keep up with paperwork and tasks that have been completed (entered, paid, received, etc). This stamper also has different color ink pads available (black, blue, red, and green). I will definitely be ordering more of these so we have them for our entire accounting department.

what you are purchasing is not what is pictured. The stamp I received does not look near as durable as the one that is purchased. It seems very flimsy and weak. I have not used it yet as I plan to return it. Hopefully the seller will make the return smooth since it is clearly a misrepresentation of the product
