This is kind of suckyJul 02, 2009

Some of the reviews say this is good and some say it's horrible but really all it is tolerable. You've had this kind of Pad Thai before: noodles a little mushy with a weird crinkled texture from being precooked, a thick, oily sauce that doesn't really have the sweetness or fishiness of proper Pad Thai. You've banished the thought from your mind and are willing to give it another shot cause it's convenient and cheap and delicious Pad Thai is so hard to get for lunch.
You'll eat one of the six, say it isn't bad and think maybe you'll fix it up next time, add a little meat, add some egg, some cayenne pepper. And you will, and it'll still kinda suck. You'll realize the noodles would be pretty tolerable if the sauce wasn't so horrible, tasting vaguely of burning and old peanut. Then you'll try to give the other four away but nobody will want them, and you'll have to eat them yourself.

Stay away from this productSep 10, 2009
By John Erikson I looked at the reviews and thought that it was worth the money to try this product. I now understand why this is on sale. It tastes nothing like pad thai. I couldn't even finish one of the small boxes. I'm probably going to give away the 5 other boxes or feed it to my dog.

This version was on Friday Sale at Amazon last week so I bit. I'm not much of a cook, so I add a small can of Swanson chicken when I heat it and DINNER! Pretty good, quick and easy. One thing I also noticed is a REMARKABLE similarity with a noodle product that Trader Joe's sells. I think I've found the source of their noodle and rice in a box products! The interior packages were identical to the TJ product. That said, Amazon was cheaper (TJ is $2 per box), especially with the Friday sale and or subscription. Good deal!

Ok......Jan 30, 2009
By princessducky Pretty good for a cheap quick meal. Noodles were not dry. Good flavoring to them. Might not be enough for most people to get full though.

Too sweet!!! Yuck!Oct 09, 2009
By K. Harper I was hoping that this would be close as authentic Pad Thai, but the sauce is too sweet, far from authentic! By the time you finish one, you feel kinda sick from eating it. Do not recommend at all.
