We love these little cakes, for ourselves and as gifts. The amount is appropriate se we do not keep going back for more. The cake is delicious and satisfies ones desire for "something else".

This rum cake is so moist and tasty. I had it at one of my friend's Christmas party about 5 years ago. I liked it so much, I asked my hostess, if it was homemade and if she could give me the recipe. She told me that she bought it at a gourmet shop and the shop gets it around November/December time period. Then while perusing on the internet, I found it on the Amazon site. Ever since then I have been buying it every year on Amazon. One 24 oz. for my family and couple of packages of 6 sample ones for gift giving. It's almost becoming a tradition in my family. We really enjoy it.

I don't like homemade rum cakes, they have too much rum in them and rum is not my favorite liquor. This has enough to qualify as a rum cake and to be able to taste the cake too. I've given these for gifts and they were a hit.

I like the concept of the little cake. If you have a friend who stops by they are the perfect size for 2 people. You throw on a pot of coffee, and you have an instant dessert to go with it. I also used a couple of these for Christmas gifts for the people I gave gift cards to...just a little something extra which was nice.
The cake itself was not the best rum cake I ever had. Don't get me wrong, it is good, but not great or the best. When my husband & I went to Bermuda we bought rum cakes there and they were far superior. The Bermuda cakes seemed to have much more rum in them.

This was NOT my Order. I chose a 33 Oz. cake and somehow it was changed to 6 4-oz toys. Was it Amazone system?
