This pasta is by far my favorite brand. I've tried others and this one is delicious!!! I don't taste a diff. b/w this and regular pasta anymore. I've gotten my whole family to eat it and they love it too. I highly recommend it!

These cook up a little fast and so you have to be careful not to over cook them. Other than that, they taste great and are very good for you. Win-win!

If you don't have a stove, you can microwave this, too.
Microwave Tinkyada Baked Penne
(Ahem.)
Ingredients:
Bag of Tinkyada Penne
Jar of spaghetti sauce (The large kind. Muir Glen is gluten-free)
1 cup water
ceramic dish
saran wrap or a plate about the size of the ceramic dish
1200 watt microwave
Optional:
Parmesan, vegan parmesan, or merlot
Pour half the bag of penne into the ceramic dish. Cover the pasta with the entire jar of pasta sauce. Add one cup water. Mix well. Cover the ceramic dish with saran wrap or a plate, leaving a small corner uncovered to vent. Set the microwave to run for 45 minutes on 50% power.
Walk away. Contemplate world peace, or have a nice glass of merlot. After 45 minutes, take the ceramic dish out of the microwave. Sprinkle with parmesan or vegan parmesan.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! Finally, gluten free pasta that TASTES GREAT! No weird aftertaste, and it cooks up al dente. Granted, as with any other GF pasta, it takes about twice as long to cook as non-GF pasta, but at least this Tinkyada pasta doesn't fall apart as soon as it's cooked. Tinkyada pasta holds up for reheating. You can use this Tinkyada Penne with some leftover marinara sauce like Bertolli Organic Sauce - Traditional Tomato & Basil - 24 Oz. Glass Jar (Pack of 3) and some pepperonis or Italian sausage slices, top it with some cheese, and viola you have a quick weeknight dinner. Or, toss some of the Tinkyada penne with some Purdue Italian Grilled Chicken Strips, a little seasoned olive oil, some presliced onion+peppers, some Parmesan cheese... Throw some Udi's GF dinner rolls on the side, a bottle of wine... just sayin' :-)
