Beware- SALT!Dec 26, 2008
By Grover Duff I ordered these as a gift for my parents- the almonds are very nice, large, nice flavor but they are very very very salty! I wish I had ordered them plain (I like salty food so for me to find these overly salted is really saying something.) Also, they came taped together with clear packing tape so to separate them I had to tear the label off and the plastic lid did not fit very well. If you are gifting these and big on appearance I would reconsider.

By gshoes I have bought these almonds for Christmas for the last two years. They were shipped shrink wrapped together with a cardboard base and never taped together.
I always buy these specific almonds because they make a nice presentation, especially for the holidays. They are not your typical almond with the brown outer coating and salty texture. They are actually round, not oval, and I didn't find them to be too salty at all - they were just right. Also important to note that they are halved.

Ugh!Dec 02, 2009
By Judith R. Brown I had this type of nut while visiting California. When I returned to New York, I ordered the same brand of nuts on Amazon. When they arrived they were stale and rancid. I would never order from this company again.
