3Nice easy meal spicy with dried red chiliesJul 26, 2010

I like the flavor of this thai Peanut StirFry by Thai Pavillion and it is gluten-free. You can easily add spice and lime leaf and lemongrass if you want to make spicer or you can leave it mild. My local WF says MSRP is $3.69 and that's what they sell it for with a mfr coupon on it for $1 off so i don't know why the MSRP is shown higher on Amazon but you end up pretty much paying about full price without a discount for bulk purchase. Sometimes though my local Vons/Safeway puts on sale for $2 with the $1 off coupon doubled so I get it for free! It has a nice fresh flavor and you can add other veggies and be creative not following the instructions. This satisfies that I-gotta-have-Thai hankering. While you can taste the peanuts, the red chile is pretty strong - so strong as to trigger an autoimmune response if you have arthritis or something similar

i've had other thai pavilion products that were good.. this one isn't. it doesn't make alot unless you add stuff the sause smells so bad it almost made me throw up, and to top it off it had no kick in it like most thai food. the price wouldn't be bad if if was good but its not its a waste of money specialy at about 2.90 a box

3Kind of boring for Thai FoodSep 24, 2009
By R. Sherman
The package says that it serves 1-2, but unless you add some meat and vegetables it will only serve 1. I made it with some chicken and snow peas and it was ok, but it was nothing like real Thai food, which is bursting with flavors. It's also not very peanutty in flavor. Next time I make it, I will try to add some peanut butter to the sauce or ground peanuts to top it off. Note to those not familiar with Thai food: when you open the sauce packet, the fish sauce smell is quite strong. Don't worry, it's not strong whne everything is all mixed together. One final comment, I don't think the product is worth the money, even when it is on sale.
