What Happened To This Product????Dec 20, 2009
By Diana Fredrich As a previous reviewer stated - I used to buy this product and it was very good - very spicy. I have purchased several jars over the last several months, at different locations, and this product no longer is any good - at all. The jar I just opened was supposed to be good until 2011 - it was totally bland, and looked old. I don't know what Thai Kitchen is doing - but - their curry pastes are bland. It seems like the curry is very old. Or, the jars are not sealed properly. I have even sent emails to Thai Kitchen about this. This vendor has a problem. Go to an Asian market and get a real curry paste. It makes a WORLD of difference. (I'm sorry Thai Kitchen - but you need to get it together !!)

Not The same Anymore...Apr 16, 2010

We bought this stuff on occasion (loved it) for quite some time, but now it has changed. Bought some recently and found it to be very mild and tasteless. Used almost the whole jar! Still no flavor. Thought something was wrong and bought a jar a few months later, someplace else. Same result. Won't buy again, have tried another brand (A Taste of Thai brand Curry Paste, available in 4 different flavors), will stick with that. Liked that this came in a nice sized jar, versus a packet, but without flavor, what's the point? Hope this is helpful...

I agree - this curry paste has changedJun 04, 2011
By anne This was a staple for me - loved it - but the prior reviewer is right - it is sour now and not spicy - just bad! I should have googled this a while back, thinking maybe I just wasn't remembering correctly, but felt much better after I read that I'm not the only one who has noticed the change. I won't buy it again.

Really disappointedJan 22, 2010
By K. McKay I was really disappointed with this curry paste. I used twice what the recipe called for and ended up with an exceptionally bland shrimp curry. Such a waste. :(

Exceptionally mildMar 24, 2011
By Mark Romero Used almost the entire jar and absolutely zero heat. I added some cayenne pepper to spice it up. I usually buy the real Thai stuff, which this is supposed to be according to the label, but got this instead. With the real stuff, 3 tablespoons along with 2 cans of coconut milk and your mouth is on fire. Not this. I am on vacation and made curry for my family. They loved my red curry chicken but to me it was only so so.
