A Rich and Robust Alternative to CoffeeJun 12, 2010
By The Vermont Gourmet Three years ago I gave up most caffeine in my diet but I've never been able to give up that last little bit contained in a good cup of decaffeinated coffee -- until now. While the flavor is a little different than that of coffee, its close enough to become my new morning ritual. Here's what I like about this healthy alternative:
* I brew it in a coffee pot just like usual
* The drink's consistency is similar to coffee and is dark roasted color
* It comes in various flavors just like coffee
* I drink it with about half the raw sugar and cream I used to use
* I'm totally satisfied with my drink; I don't feel cheated
In addition to cutting on caffeine, I'm also cutting costs. When I make coffee I use a tablespoon of coffee per cup. With this stuff I use only a half-tablespoon.

By country girl at heart If you're searching for a coffee replacement, something that fools you into thinking you're drinking coffee, this probably isn't it, but if you're looking for a great tasting, healthy alternative to coffee, I don't believe you can do any better. As I'm typing this, I'm drinking a huge glass of 2 cups brewed Teeccino added to 1 cup light soy milk and a packet of Stevia with ice. I have it once a day and look forward to it, knowing I'm actually adding something healthy to my body, and there are no sugar or caffeine jitters. I've been buying Teeccino for about 15 years, first at the health food stores and then on Amazon.com where I always get it for the best price. (Love free shipping!!)

Best Coffee Replacement...Jul 26, 2009
By S. Simkins One of my favourite herbal coffee beverages. It is caffeine free and actually good for you. It has potassium, fiber and helps with digestion. I love the Mocha flavour especially since I am a chocoholic. Try it you won't be disappointed.

I love the new teeccino alternate choice to coffee and/or tea. Tasty both iced or hot and non acidic and no caffeine. A nice change of pace. An excellent blend of flavors. My favs are the almond and mocha.

Healthy Substitute For CoffeeSep 25, 2010
By Steve Taylor The following review is the review I wrote on the vanilla flavored Teeccino. I saw no reason to change it except to mention that I found the Mocha flavor to be even better. It's not nearly as chocolaty or sweet as hot chocolate (thankfully) and it has only 20 calories per cup. It tastes more like coffee then the vanilla and mint and is the flavor smoother. My wife didn't care for the other two but loves the Mocha. It makes for a great, healthy after-dinner desert drink.

This is my second time trying Teeccino and I must say the more I drink it the better I like it. As I've gotten older, coffee is having adverse effects my digestive track and it's not been good so I need something else and tea just doesn't cut it. Teeccino seems to be about as close to coffee as one can get without being coffee. The mint was really good and this vanilla nut may even be better. Teeccino doesn't leave that bad aftertaste coffee gives you (even the really good stuff) and it seems to give a slight energy boost. Nothing like coffee though. No brain stimulation. I think the energy comes from the inulin. I did some research on inulin and I suggest you do the same. I'm still not sure if it's a good thing or not. Some say yes and others no. It doesn't seem to have a negative effect on me as of yet. If you need to get off of coffee or hot chocolate or your just tired of drinking tea give Teeccino a try. I think you'll be quite pleased. Oh yea... I put honey and milk in mine and it's really good that way.
I've been making a pitcher at the beginning of the week and keeping it in the fridge. It seems to keep very well. It's easier to heat up a cup on the stove in the morning so I don't wake the entire house with the noise of the coffee maker or microwave.
