Not as picturedMay 10, 2007
By norska While the salsa and chicken had a nice flavor, there wasn't much of it. Contrary to the picture on the package, the contents are nearly half rice, a third refried beans, and a tiny portion of salsa and chicken. I would have given it another star if it had the large chucks of chicken, like the photo.

Entree No, Snack Yes ...Jul 03, 2008

If you like Taco Bell, these taste authentic. The only problem is the serving size. Even a light eater would call these a snack (or side) and not an entree. Which means they are somewhat expensive but still less than eating out. And we do pay for the convenience factor.

A LITTLE PRICEYApr 09, 2008

I like the taste of all the Taco Ball Entrees. I understand the other reviewers negative comments. The photo on the front does make you belive there is more meat. It is mostly beans and rice by volume. By weight the portions are probably equal. I like the fact that they don't have to be refrigerated. I usally get these when the are on sale. At around two dollars these are not a bargain. These would be great if priced under two because ultimately the product is tastey.

The picture makes this look like a full meal, it isn't. This really is a decent size snack,
like other reviewers i do wish there was more chicken, other than that i cant complain
the flavor is actually pretty good but can be improved if you have some corn chips or tortilla chips of some kind to go with this dish Purchased 11/2009 expiration date on package is 9/2010

Better than I expectedJun 30, 2009

I ordered the Salsa Chicken, because it has a 3 1/2 star rating. The Fiesta Steak and Santa Fe Beef Bowl's have only 3 star ratings. I have never tried the other two, but the Salsa Chicken tastes pretty darn good for microwave convenience food. It microwaves in 90 seconds with no fuss and no mess. No need to 'wash the dishes' if you use a plastic fork. This is great Geek survival food for IT professionals doing disaster recovery in the server room after unplanned emergencies. Tastes WAY better than MREs and cheaper too. Maybe I'll order a Titanium Spork to go with it. I gave it 4 stars because of the flavor and convenience. I would have given it 5 stars if the refried beans were topped with cheese.
