AWESOME !!!Sep 16, 2009
By Matthew G. Sherwin Swedish Fish is some of the very best candy I've ever had--and you can take that from me, an increasingly aged old man who's eaten a lot of candy in his day! LOL Seriously, though, these little red fish shaped candies are indeed every bit as soft, chewy and delicious as they say they are! Their sweet cherry flavor is something you can easily get hooked on--stock up on these before any storm hits! SMILE
Although they are a fat free food they contain sugar; and sugar can turn to fat in your system if you're not especially active. Eat these with this caveat in mind. Sugar is not exactly the greatest thing for your teeth, either, so if you need a sugar free treat for any health reasons, you need to pick another type of candy.
The Swedish Fish come in easy to handle five ounce bags; each bag is easy to open and you don't have to close it up tightly again for the candy to remain fresh. As long as you're going to eat the five ounce bag within a few days you don't have to worry about freshness.
Overall, this candy is great to munch on when you're at the movies or anytime you get a craving for some really yummy, chewy candy. Enjoy!

Delicious!Feb 08, 2010
By Kurt A. Johnson Mmmm. Swedish Fish were originally created by a Swedish candy company, Malaco, for export to the North American markets. Today, Swedish Fish are manufactured by the Cadbury Adams Company in Canada.
The wonderful red Swedish Fish have a delicious berry flavor, and are semi-gummi. That is to say that they have a firm texture, not too soft, but not as rubbery as gummi candy. They are fat free, and 200 ounces contain 200 calories (51g of carbohydrates).
My Swedish Dad was a huge Swedish Fish fan, and I guess that I picked it up from him. I find these candies to be quite delicious, and I love eating them every chance I get. I highly recommend Swedish Fish!
Hard and tampered withMar 21, 2012
By Lynda Fritschi I love Swedish Fish, so this is not a review of the product overall, just my shipment. I received a box with 12 5oz bags. Each bag had several fish that were actually sliced in half and fitted back together. It's very odd, actually. It's not like they were torn or broken in transit. There is a very clean cut, all the way through the fish, and parts were fitted back together. I really have not idea how this happened, as it has been the case for each bag in this shipment. In addition, the fish are hard. They are not soft and chewy as they should be. I tried to return the shipment but was unable to due to Amazon's return policy (which I believe prohibits the return of food products). Overall, very dissatisfied with this shipment, but love Swedish Fish in general.

Your favorite red fish in convenient packsMay 12, 2011
By Philip Davis I can't review the fish themselves. They are the "red" flavored Swedish fish winegum candies. Some say they're supposed to be lingonberry flavored. I can't say, apart from that they were perfectly fresh and that they taste like my childhood at the Sears candy counter in the mall. You get a bunch of convenient packs of fish for a really good price. Use them to ration your fish intake. Distribute them to friends to get them hooked. I split my order with friend and fellow fish addict. This is a great deal.
