It is the Swanson we all know and love. While it is 100% Natural, they aren't claiming free range/antibiotic free chicken. But, it is the Swanson we all know and love. The broth is great for any recipe. I now use it in place of water when cooking rice or other pasta/starch dishes that can use a flavor boost. Buying it on the subscribe and save program makes it an even better deal, you don't have to pay for shipping, and you always have broth on hand - so dinner can be made quickly with a stand-by recipe. I always make sure to have some in my pantry.

we love this chicken broth we use it to make chicken soup, gravy. we also inject it into whole chickens & turkeys before roasting or putting in the smoker. we also use it to replace water when making instant potatoes, stuffing or anything else that requires water when making a meal. every meal we make with Swanson broths turn out great. this is well worth the money and we will be buying this off amazon again its much cheaper then buying from our local store.
A Main Ingredient In A Real Good Chicken Soup.Feb 28, 2013

It's time once again for a big batch of chicken soup. Mmmmm, good. I use a 12.5-ounce can of Kirkland Signature Chicken Breast as a source of the chicken. It's packed in it's own water/broth. Then I add veggies. Carrots, celery, bell peppers, a potato and perhaps a can of stewed tomatoes. For spices, I add fresh-ground pepper, bay leaves and dill weed and a little garlic. I hold off on the salt in that it's a hidden ingredient in both the Chicken and the Swanson Chicken Broth which I add to the melange. Oh yes, I may add a couple handfuls of pasta, whatever I have available. I bring it to a boil, then turn the heat way down and let it simmer until I feel it's done. Usually about an hour is sufficient. This always turns out good. Plus it's made of good ingredients and is low in calories. One batch will last a couple days including both the evening meals and lunches. And, I swear, it tastes better on the second day.
