I love these raisins.
I like to have this for when I'm craving sugar and don't want candy.
They're so sweet, I prefer these golden ones, depends on what grape you want.
This is a nice snack for children too.
I like dried mangos but I can't find them here.Dried cranberries are nice too.

I've eaten one full box of these and didn't experience a single bit of stem. Maybe because these golden raisins are moister and tenderer than the dark ones, the stems separate more readily in processing. These are a little sweeter than raisins I'm used to eating, but with a slightly less distinct flavor. I hope my first box was typical . . . they are delightful to eat by the fistful.

Sun Maid California Golden Raisins, 15-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6) These precious little raisins are some of the best food being sold today. The price on Amazon is less than the ones in the supermarkets, too.
We love these raisins straight out of the box, on our cereals, or in our recipes. We have used them in some of our recipes in The Collard Patch. We buy these often and keep them handy. As grocery prices continue to grow, we are careful to give ourselves little treats like these raisins, which we consider a gourmet product -- actually fit for royalty -- to keep us content with our frugal way of life.
Nutritionally they are an excellent source of dietary fiber, energy, and potassium.
In 2007, we bought a box of Sun Maid California Golden Raisins that did not measure up to our standards. Although the raisins were tasty, the box had about 20% dark raisins. We wrote the Sun Maid Company and expressed our disappointment. Evidently this occurrence was something they did not expect or accept. They told us that there is no way to avoid having a few dark raisins in the box but that this box was not representative of their fine product. And here is the wonderful part of the story: They sent us coupons for three free boxes of raisins to make things right! Where could you find a better deal than that? The Sun Maid people stand behind their product.

Excellent Product from AmazonNov 21, 2010

I ordered this product from Amazon with hesitancy, which I normally buy from Indian grocery stores. When I placed the order the shipping date showed as 30 to 45 days, but it arrived in 7 days. The product was fresher and cheaper than any grocery stores. I use it as a snack and to and to desserts. I was thrilled with the experience of ordering a food item from a website, from where I only bought electronic items and books. This is one of the best purchases I made at Amazon. I ordered the "Frontier Cardamom Pods" along with this order to avoid paying shipping charges and plus I use it in Indian tea and desserts. I give this product 5 stars as it arrived on time, and when I opened the packet it was fresh, and full of flavor and would highly recommend buying this product from Amazon.
