palacinta or hungarian pancakesOct 07, 2010
By I. Zubak I have been looking everywhere for a prune filling for my palacinta and finally found Solo prune/plum filling at Amazon! It's the best prune filling yet. It is very moist and fresh in the can and the right consistancy and sweetness. I only use prune filling in my palacinta and I will only use Solo brand from now on. It is nice to know where I can order Solo instead of hunting for it in stores when I need it. Thank you Amazon!

ROSHKE BAKINGMay 01, 2009

The prune/plum, poppyseed, and apricot fillings are just what I requested. They arrived within days so I could bake with no rush or worry they would not be there by Easter. Fillings were fresh and not dried in the cans. The Slovak Roshke were delicious and moist as a result of these fresh products.

I do a lot of baking and need prune filling for my European pastries. These are perfect! Just like German, or Czech, or Hungarian. If that is what you are looking for, these work!
