Solo Poppy Seed FillingOct 01, 2007

I have grown up with this product - over 57 years. While many manufacturers have cheapened their products over the years, Solo has maintained the same quality and consistency over nearly 6 decades. The filling is clearly dominated by the poppy seeds themselves - the filler and binder is kept to the minimum necessary to make the product work. Flavor is excellent and consistent. I highly recommend Solo Poppy Seed filling. In our family it supports THE classic family pastry: babovka.

This is an excellent product- It enables me to use and old German recipe for poppy bread which my Grandmother used to prepare...she grew her own poppies in the garden and took great pride and great care in preparing the bread. Well this product allows me to recreate a decent rendition of her recipe without all of the work...great product at a great price!

This filling is wonderful and a good value over buying it in the grocery store.
Take a white cake mix and mix it to direction and beat in a can of poppy seed filling and you have a wonderful, moist cake. You won't reget it!

Poppy seed filling was moist and when mixed with some milk baked fine in my Polish Poppy Seed Roll recipe.
This product is difficult to find in "normal" food stores.
I appreciate Amazon's food inventory, pricing and quick shipping in making my life and my family's a lot eaier.

Solo Filling, Poppy Seed, 12.5-Ounce Unit (Pack of 12)
I do a lot of baking for the holidays..making 18" long poppy seed rolls and nut rolls. This filling is exactly what I need for the poppy seed rolls. Saves me from having to grind my own poppy seeds and then mixing them up for the filling. It's great and I love it. And I'm very pleased with the service from Amazon. I will definitely order from them again and again.
