Excellent cups, but slimy on the outsideJun 06, 2011
By Aaron Sherman I got my first shipment of these, and the cups are excellent. However, all of the cups I got in this batch had a slimy feel to the outside, and left my fingers slick after touching them, as if I had oil on my fingers. I'm not sure what it is, since there's no grease film on liquids that I put into the cups, and there's no smell to it. I'm going to wait until the second batch arrives (I did the Subscribe & Save thing) and if they're just as bad, I'll cancel my order and return the second batch. Otherwise, I'll throw out the first batch and update this review to positive. A one-time thing doesn't bother me, but the cups are unusable, as shipped.
On the plus side, these cups are large, sturdy and stack very well.

Good cupsMay 22, 2012
By R. Nelson I order these cups every couple of months. They are way better at holding water than my hands. I mean, with my hands I can hold maybe 4 or 5 ounces of water. And I have to wash my hands really well before I do it too (unless I'm eating indian food, in that case I let the flavors spice up my beverages). And now matter how well I wash my hands, they also seem to leave a distinct taste in the beverage. Maybe it's the soap I use. Either way, these cups are way more convenient. No more sitting at home on the couch, with one hand holding a tub of popcorn with a corndog in it, while the other hand holds a meager 4 ounces of soda to help wash all that down. I used to just eat most of my meals by the sink or just drink straight out of a 2 liter--but I felt it was classless.
