You've scooped your ice cream. You've added the whipped cream. You've poured the rainbow sprinkles. And yet your sundae is still missing the final touch. If you think that your dessert would be fine with just the typical Hershey's Chocolate Sauce, and that there is no further way to increase its deliciousness, then you obviously have not tried Magic Shell. You snap off the cap and begin to pour. The sauce looks slightly lighter than usual. You wait for about fifteen seconds. The liquid sauce begins to solidify from the cool contact of the ice cream. This may surprise you at first--but you're kind of curious, right? Go on, take a bite!
The taste of ice cream and candy has found its perfect balance. You don't have to deal with the harshness of frozen chocolate chips, because Magic Shell has a gentle crunch. The sauce is slightly salty, complementing the sweetness of the ice cream, like the way peanut butter complements the chocolate in a Reeses peanut butter cup. The Magic Shell does not distract from the taste of any type of ice cream, but rather adds a twist to the texture that makes each flavor all the more distinct and delicious. The froth of the whipped cream and the richness of the ice cream meet the delicious chunks of your new-found discovery. You will never turn back.

In my opinion, this is the defining invention of 20th Century America.
In the words of a friend, who immigrated to the U.S. from overseas: "I was amazed when I first discovered about magic shell. I looooooove magic shell. Only America can think of such idea and is able to capitalize on that brilliant idea."
Not quite fudge, not really chocolate, completely absurd. By what black art did the makers conjure the ability for something to freeze in seconds at room temperature? Begs the questions, was it invented by accident, or by a sage?

The Smucker's Magic Shell is just terrible. It doesn't even harden it just stays liquid, I waited ten minutes for it to harden and it never did.

This products is great and we love it so much a 12 pack doesn't take that long to go through. And this price is great, especially with free delivery. Much cheaper than going to the store.

I bought this product and another brand (very well known for their chocolate) and did a taste test. The Smucker's brand was quite NASTY! It doesn't even remotely taste like chocolate, and it doesn't harden like the other brand. I love Smuckers Jams & Jellies, but they just don't have what it takes to make this chocolate topping. Smuckers's, please do us a favor and stick to jams and jellies.
