 Gook product, poor container for shippingSep 13, 2007

The creamed honey itself is good clover honey, fine granules, etc. The problem is shipping. Amazon loaded 4 containers into a box, added they plastic "pillow" for padding and shipped it. The plastic containers are similar to margarine/yogurt container with a snap on lid. Unlike many these days that have the annoying clear plastic ring these have nothing holding the lid on.
So when the box arrived there was honey leaking out of 3 corners, so I opened it in the sink. One of the containers banged around and the lid popped off spilling 1lb 4oz of honey into the box. Another one leaked spilling another one leaked half it's contents out. It was a big sticky mess in the box, though warm water allowed me to clean off the surviving containers fairly easily.
That said, I like clover honey, and this is a fine example of creamed honey. It's to bad it's not better packed. Don't ship it with any else you order!!

The containers aren't sealed well, and leaked a little into the box that also contained books. Not enough to really affect the amount in the tub, but enough to basically ruin the books.
That said the creamed honey is great, just like other brands I've purchased. The price is competitive. Hopefully Amazon will resolve the shipping problems, or the vendor will resolve the packing problem.
Also it would be nice to purchase in smaller quantities, 5 pounds is an awful lot of honey.

very nice small crystal very pleasing taste great product quick shipping BUT need to find a better way to stabilize the product during shipping 1/2 of one carton lost its lid and spilled in the box during shipping it was a bit messy.

The honey itself is not bad but the lids will NOT stay on during shipping!
I had ordered this and when it arrived, the box was absolutely covered in honey (inside and out) and each tub of honey was less then 1/2 full, the plastic shipping bag that Amazon used to pack the tubs was FULL of honey.
So, I call Amazon and they insisted on shipping out a replacement, taking care to pack them more carefully. The replacement arrived today and the items were in worse shape the second time. The lids were completely off, floating around in the box and each tub was 95% empty, leaving honey all over the inside and outside of the box. So, after cleaning the mess off of the porch and wasting yet another order of honey, I have given up on Amazon for supplying the world creamed honey.

BTW, in the ten + years I have ordered items from Amazon, this is the first problem I have had with shipping on anything.

Just something of an up-date, for a previous comment already has noted that the problem about packaging has indeed been over-come, for the lids on the individual tubs stay on until you remove them; also, the four tubs are sealed together by a wrap of heavy plastic - this ensures that they stay together and do not rattle around during shipment! When one adds Amazon's great packaging (in a card-board box), there are no longer any unpleasant surprises when the box is opened! Oh, and did I mention that the creamed honey does indeed "taste great"! No problems at all, just a great product, one not easily available elsewhere, as has been noted in previous comments. So I have nothing new to say, for this is just a happy up-date by a most satisfied customer!
