Full Bodied Not Too StrongOct 05, 2008
By K. Conklin First time I tried Sumatra in a large order from Amazon and I was not disappointed. I read the reviews before selection and was encouraged to try this blend. When I grind Sumatra beans for a drip coffee maker it is stronger. This Pod-style Sumatra blend is not too strong and should please most coffee drinkers. Very satisfactory - will probably stick with this selection for future purchases. The quick and easy brewing using Senseo is so great for people on the run - or too sleepy to grind and brew. Tastes great from first sip to bottom of cup!

Super Twin MomAug 31, 2008

"Super Twin Mom"
We love our Senseo, and the Sumatra Blend, which is rich and dark, yet smooth and not bitter. Far superioe to their Dark Roast.
We are starting to have trouble consistently finding it in the local stores, and buying it on autopuchase at a discount through Amazon makes a lot of sense, both for convenience and price.

Senseo Sumatra Blend Coffee podsOct 25, 2007
By A. Long Great coffee. Stronger than "dark" and "medium" that I find in my grocery store.

The Best Senseo Pods? I love my senseoNov 08, 2011
By J. Gross I've had a Senseo now for, wow, six years. It's not as cool as a Keurig, but the Keurig is slower, pods cost a lot more (when I last looked, a while ago now) and don't produce a better cup.
There is/was a Blue Mountain pod, but I never tried it. I would rate a cup of this pretty much on par with what you would get out of a mid-grade Sumatra bean in a drip pot; maybe even as good as a French press. Of course, it's smaller...
Comparing this with the rest of the Senseo pods, it's somewhere between medium roast and dark roast (in flavor), but softer and richer. It's well worth the extra expense (minor cost difference between this and dark roast pods). One of my favorite products period. I start every day with at least one cup of this.
