Keya blend is smooth and does not leave bitter after taste.Jan 09, 2012
By okiedan have used Senseo now for 6 years plus. Just purchased the newest senseo machine and it is a vast improvement over the base unit. the Kenya blend coffee is very smooth. I also have found the Sumatra blend to be tasty. However, I do believe that the Kenya blend via the subscribe and save program is the best yet. Thanks.

SENSEO PodsApr 27, 2011

Great to see the Kenyan Coffee on Amazon.com for a good price. It seems the world is turning to the Keurig brand of single-serve coffee "cups," but I love the Senseo Coffee maker. It is a bit trickier to find the Coffee Pods these days. The Kenya coffee has a unique flavor that I grew to like while visiting Kitale and Nairobi back 20 years ago. I especially love any coffee made by the Dutch Douwe Egberts company. One of the best-kept secrets if the world of coffee.

The best coffee ever!Sep 07, 2010
By Maya Senseo is still the best coffee maker on the market. Try a blend of one Sumatra pod and one Kenya pod in the double coffee pod holder. You'll be pleasantly surprised with a flavorfull cup of coffee. I fondly remember the days of drinking DE koffie in Europe and am glad you are selling it in the US. Senseo you make my day, thanks so much.

Change in Kenya blendMar 19, 2012
By jrod I've had the Senseo Kenya blend as a subscribe and save item for a number of years. It has always been good, when I opened the bag the smell was delicious and the brewed coffee excellent. Received a shipment this March. The smell is bitter and the coffee 2nd rate. Each pod used to have a lightly traced Senseo logo on it. Recent shipment has no logo on the pods. Pods seem to be made carelessly with coffee grinds extending to the edges.
Sorry to say that I have cancelled my subscription to Senseo Kenya pods.
