Add bbq sauce to eat these, then some flavor and less oily tasteAug 10, 2007

My first sardines from here, and I thought they were very good after my disgusting experience with an eastern seaboard brand, all mushy. Then I tried the Crown Prince ones here, and these Season ones fell in rank, as mushy and flavorless and oily. I feel sure sardines do not come out of the ocean this soft. Still have some of the Season left and eat them merely as a health food, like nasty medicine so good for you. But eat after slathering with a tablespoon of barbecue sauce, and maybe good cornchips on the side.
