Works better than most for me.Sep 25, 2010

"Comparison Shopper"
Over the last 8 years I've tried almost every Gluchosamine/Chondroiton supplement on the market and keep coming back to the Schiff Move Free Advanced. I have severe osteo-arthritis in my back, both hips and both knees with the right hip and knee being bone-to-bone. My doctors have recommended taking OTC Gluchosamine/Chondroitin suppliments in addition to the narcotic pain relievers I must take to help manage the pain. None of the suppliments I've tried (or the narcotics for that matter) leave me pain free but the Move Free Advanced definately works better than others for me. There have been times I've thought that my condition was improving so discontinued the Move Free to try to save a few dollars and the pain would once again become more severe shortly after discontinuing the suppliment. Within a week or two after restarting the Move Free the pain would begin to diminish once again.
No one compound is going to be the answer for everyone, each person will have different results. If you have joint pain and haven't at least tried Schiff Move Free Advanced and are looking for either a new product to use or a replacement for what you currently take you should at least give it a try. Good luck to you! I hope it works as well for you as it does for me.

Product worksFeb 22, 2011
By hmewrdbd I am 67 years old and have tried many types of glucosamine products. I originally purchased Move Free Advanced plus MSM from Costco--on the advice of a friend (her doctor) and my naturopath (use glucosamine with MSM combination). I could tell a distinct difference in relief from the burning and stiffness that often accompanies arthritis in the hands and hips. When I ran out, Costco no longer carried this particular product: they had Move Free Advanced, but without MSM, and they had a Shiff glucosamine/MSM combinatnion only (no chondroitin and no proprietary herbs). I tried the glucosamine/MSM product and could tell no benefit from it. After ordering the Move Free Advanced plus MSM from Amazon, I once again notice an improvement in symptoms. I know this is anecdotal evidence, but I do not think it is merely placebo effect, since I have used other high quality, pharmaceutical grade glucosamine/chondroitin products in the past without the same result.

By Harvey Grossman In as a skeptic- now I am a believer- diagnosed with advanced hip arthritis -even though not that old- told will need hip replacement when pain is no longer tolerable- I am on my third week of this item and there is a definite difference- less pain more mobility- this price can't be beat went on the auto ship at great savings- this is NOT the regular msm stuff it has other components so make sure you order the correct item- it has to state advanced

Good StuffSep 07, 2010
By Jennifer G I have arthritis in my hips and this stuff is wonderful for helping with the pain. It doesn't take it away completely, but the pain relief is enough, so that I can continue with my workout program and get by in day to day activities, something I wasn't able to do comfortably before I found this stuff. I've read some other reviews with people complaining that this product upsets their stomach, but I haven't had any problems with it. I agree with the other person on here though, it seems like this is a product you have to take for life. I was on vacation and didn't take it for a few days and the pain came back, so I've been looking to buy it in bulk somewhere, as it is a little expensive, but I always find coupons for it in the newspaper and they have a loyalty program too which is pretty good. I'd give it a try if you have joint pain. I feel like I got a part of my life back with this stuff and am grateful for that.

No Sciatica pain for two weeksJul 29, 2011

"Gramma to 3 boys"
I have been on this product for about three weeks. I do a one hour Pilates class twice a week and I am noticing a distinct difference in how I can workout better with less knee pain or sciatica pain or hand pain. I'm convinced it is this product helping me and I plan to keep on taking it. I started with two pills twice a day instead of the recommended 3 pills twice a day. I have had no stomach upset or side effects. I went off my NSAIDS before starting this regimen and so far I am mostly pain free and feel good.
