 Works well with Zebra driverJul 08, 2011

This printer could possibly be a Zebra LP2844 for $100 less. Print quality is readable but changing print darkness seems to have no effect. Our company got this one to work with stamps.com I could not get the Bixolon drivers to work. Tech support at Stamps walked me through links at Zebra to download the LP2844 print driver install app. The Bixolon was found (as a Zebra) and worked right away. Just rename the printer when done.

Excellent printer. Purchased elsewhere - Just wanted to add that you must use the Zebra LP2844 driver to get it to work. I tried several Bixolon drivers and none worked. The LP2844 driver works great. Seems identical to the Zebra.

This is a good printer. Works well. Prints at a good rate. Was not able to get it working with compatible drivers for the device it replaced (same printer). However, It works well with the the Zebra LP2844 Drivers for respective OS (I believe that they are identical).

I bought this product because of the very reasonable price for a thermal label printer. The product itself looks good but the installation was difficult. I am fairly computer savvy but I couldn't figure this one out. It seems to be a problem with Windows 7 compatibility. That in itself is not a problem so I decided to contact tech support for assistance. The problem is there is no tech support!! At least no phone numbers provided in the manual or on their website. Because of this I have returned and ordered a Zebra.
