The smoke isn't overwhelming. Texture is ok. They left the tails on, which bothers me a little. There's enough fish in the can for a full meal. Other people complain about the aroma. I don't mind it though.

When you open the can it looks like sardines, so I can not say these are like other gourmet brands (which are very clean and neat in the can), but the flavor is good, and they are smokey as sprats should be. Salaka Smoked Sprats In Oil, 8.47-Ounce Jars (Pack of 48)
