Great ItemJun 05, 2009

It's hard to find good sushi ginger when you live in a small midwestern city, so I am glad that I can get this product through Amazon. I used it as an accompaniment for grilled tuna, sushi, and other Asian dishes. It's also great as a little snack just by itself!

Excellent gingerNov 29, 2009
By Renee010 This ginger is very tasty on its own, with sushi, and with any seafood. I signed up for the Subscribe and Save program for this item, which gives 15% off the price and allows you to choose how often you want to receive the product (no obligation, no shipping charges.) Initially, I indicated 6 months, but my daughter and I ran out of it in a little more than a month, so I changed the order to be delivered every month. In addition, there is a promotion until March 31, 2010, which allows you to save an additional 10% (bringing it to 25% off) if you use the promo code ROLAND77

Great TasteJul 13, 2010
By BonnieP I love pickled ginger. This has a little more bite than I'm used to but it still has a wonderful sweet taste. I eat it with sushi or even with a sandwich like olives or pickles. It's good anytime.

Decent Sushi GingerMay 27, 2011
By Casey Clements I bought this product because of the 5 star reviews for it. I did see a one star review that said it was overly spicy, but since I like spicy things I thought I'd try them. It is a decent ginger product, but is less than restaurant quality (unless you go to a restaurant that serves this bottle!). It is more spicy than the other ginger I have tried at restaurants, but that did not bother me. The issue I have with this product is that the after taste is not fresh. When I first bit into the ginger I thought it was going to be great because initially it tastes just like I remember restaurant quality ginger. The aftertaste is the disappointment.

Very Inferior ProductApr 11, 2011
By Kenneth P Smith I purchased 8 jars based on reviews I read. I was very disappointed in the quality of the ginger compared to what I get in restaurants and what I buy at the store. The ginger was much thicker that what I considered normal and not the "pink" color I was expecting. The taste also was not what I consider to be "premium". Maybe I just got a sub standard batch, but I definitely would not reorder this product.
