Before I ordered this product, I called Customer Service for help in determining the origin. There was nothing for CS either, so I decided to try it. The packages inside the (Pack of 10) were marked CHINA. The local stores have none that are not a product of China. I tried one can and they tasted terrible, also I was miserable all night with aftertaste and burping. We have had imported poisoned food for people and pets, plus other violations of our standards. I think we should not import anything from China nor outsource any labor to them. They are laughing all the way to the bank while they stock up on everything to bring the USA down. The only brand I could find that is specific from another country is one from KOREA but it is a pack of 24 which is more than I would like to have on hand. Now I am going to order them anyway and if they are marked CHINA I give up on smoked oysters.
