We were initially hesitant to try this volume of product, but are happy that we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised. The container tub is constructed of extremely tough material, which was very important because the shipping box arrived quite mangled but there was no damage to the product. The olives have an excellent flavor but they are very salty though a quick rinse in cold water will deal with this satisfactorily. The olives are great in a summer pasta salad. We like that there is nothing added to the product, just olives, salt and water. We will definitely purchase again much sooner than anticipated as they are disappearing rapidly.

We bought the Roland Kalamata Halves (Barchetta) recently and I enjoy them everyday. The halves are easier to eat and easier to put on the pizza. They are very tasty. We signed up for the autoship program.

From a guy that has been all around Greece, and tasted tons of olives, these are authentic. Notice that these are halves -- not whole -- and with no seed. But the flavor is exactly correct. A+ and a great price.

When you taste these you only get the taste of salt. Either the package I got came from the batch Amazon had in storage for long period of time or when they packaged these someone overdozed the salt. I have these only because the Roland Kalamata Pitted (whole) olives have been out of stock for couple month. As result had to dispose to trash Rolan Kalamata Halves.
