Very aromatic pepper blendOct 29, 2009

These large containers have an arromatic 5-pepper blend of peppercorns, adding a nice range of pepper flavor to cooked dishes. I recognized black, white, pink, and brown. There are no green peppercorns in them, which of course is good for your peppermill (green peppercorns will corrode the gears).
The only quibble I have is there were a disappointing number of already-broken peppercorns among them, as opposed to other brands I have purchased. That said, the flavor and aroma is quite good.

GarbageNov 26, 2011
By S. Jordan Five-color pepper is one of my culinary secrets. I've been partial to the Morton & Bassett Rainbow Peppercorns but it's a bit dear. So I ordered this Roland product in bulk-- a two-pack of nice big keep-fresh bottles amounting to two pounds altogether, for a somewhat more attractive price than the M&B.
It arrived in totally unacceptable form: moldy peppercorns, broken empty husks, withered ancient former peppercorns from a bygone era, gargantuan mutant peppercorns incompatible with any grinder I've ever seen, stems (!)...
Two pounds of utter garbage.
Avoid.

No need to go anywhere elseJun 28, 2010
By skark_burmer To be honest i havent ordered any other peppers from Amazon as i like these the most, but i have tried lots of different peppers from different places and these are wonderful. Nice and robust without being overly harsh or imposing. Really good, and cost effective. Yeah, i'll order em again.

Great valueApr 22, 2010
By Nameless Faceless User Great value and nice flavor. My only complaint was that the allspice was just a bit large to get into my pepper grinder so I had to break them up. It's not a huge complaint. Maybe I just have a weird peppercorn grinder.

A bit more than just pepperJul 29, 2011

I wanted something other than black peppercorns,so I purchased Roland's 5 peppercorn blend. The first thing I noticed was the aroma. When I cooked and used them, there was a different taste which I enjoyed. I'm still using them.
