wild riceNov 08, 2009
By Heruka For the price, this is good wild rice. I think you could get a better grade for a lot more money, but for everyday use, this is wonderful.

good buy for the priceSep 10, 2010

I always mix wild rice with other kinds of (brown) rice that take about the same time to cook, so we don't need top quality. For our purposes this is fine. I usually order Roland products when they have a 20 or 25 percent off deal and I would order this rice again on that kind of discount special.

Didn't like this so muchNov 10, 2010

I have had Wild Rice many , many times over the years...fresh from Minnasota or Michigan where its grown and packaged for use like this order was.
Sadly , this was the poorest tasting Wild Rice that I have ever had. There is just no taste to it at all.
I do not know why this is...and I notice it states Grade A on the packaging....maybe thats a low grade plain and simple.
I cannot suggest this rice to you because I believe they should STOP SELLING this particular product to others. It is that poor tasting.
I know I will never buy it again.
Exactly what I neededDec 15, 2011
By Char Bernardin I had been searching my local stores for this product since I moved here 5 years ago. No luck, even in the organic stores, unless I wanted to spend an arm and a leg. A special holiday recipe called for wild rice. I ordered this online, and hoped the quality would be as advertised. This product met and exceeded my expectations! The dish came off beautifully and now I know where to get wild rice any time I need it.
