These oysters, in my mind, fall into the same category as SlimJims - you know that they're oh-so-wrong, but they feel oh-so-right.
I drain these from the can and use several layers of paper towels to blot them off before consumption, which takes away the thick goo of the cottonseed oil and makes for a tasty treat. In some cans I've noted a slightly metallic aftertaste but it doesn't deter me from guiltily indulging whenever I get the opportunity.
Three stars for the fact that this pack (at almost $21) is no bargain (you can get these in my local store for about $1.69 a can) and the fact that they are a product of China which brings questions about their overall quality and safety.
