I was incredibly disappointed. I used an entire jar and the product still did not have any taste. I won't be buying again.

Roland Black Truffle CreamDec 14, 2011

Amazon Box contained multiple objects including this product in it's separate bubble wrap envelope
The box arrived well packed and with no damage. However, one jar of the Black Truffle Cream had the seal broken and the oil leaked all over inside of it's bubble wrapped package.
Packaging aside, the truffle cream is bitter with no 'truffle' taste that I'm used to in truffle salt and oil. I've bought truffle cheese and truffle aioli and both were great. I love the truffle taste and this product just didn't deliver.

By Tets Amusingly disappointing! It's hard to be that far off from the claimed flavor even for a cheap product but this one does it. The excitement of receiving and opening the product quickly vanishes as the contents bluntly present themselves as mushrooms in a jar. Presence of any truffles or truffle flavoring is questionable at best. Treat yourself and spend a little more if you want a decent truffle flavor. This is a definite never again.

Excellent valueJan 13, 2012
By Davey Jones 97 I suggest mixing this with a white sauce and then using it. Strength of the flavor is WAY more intense than the smell that comes out of the jar. I recommend this if you want to give that extra punch to a dish, but don't want to shell out the 100-200 for a whole truffle. Package was not damaged at all, shipped just fine. And, these are not Chinese truffles. Whomever mentioned that in a prior review was mistaken. I know true truffles when I taste them, and this is the real deal.
