We tried these last night after picking up a package of them from Trader Joe's and they were absolutely horrible. They smelled and tasted sour... I'm HOPING we had a bad batch because it was just unbearable. They made the house smell and went straight into the trash after boiling them. Do not buy these unless you like eating sweaty salty armpits. Yikes.

"Gotta Eat, Gotta Cook"
These are not just to eat boiled as a side dish w/sauce or butter/sage. I toss these directly from the package into a pot of stew with or w/o added potatoes. Tastes great that way. I make cold salads w/this too, making a 'potato gnocchi salad' sans the cut up white potatoes! Healthier and different too. Use these instead of macaroni for mac and cheese. These are very easy to change up w/their less healthy counterparts in recipes. I am eating healthier now so I strive for more whole grains in rices, potatoes, pasta, etc...a challenge when shopping in mainstream supermarkets; so it's nice to know Amazon supplies another source for these kinds of products.

This gnocchi was a big disappointment. It was very gritty, felt like I was chewing on sand. Would never buy again.

I got prompt delivery, but was disappointed with texture of product. The gnocchia was too pasty and seemed "old". Would not order again.

Oh my! How come no one ever told me about gnocchi? Pure comfort food, more than pasta could ever be. These don't taste salty, so they don't compete with sauces or flavors, they just enhance, plus they have just the right chewiness to make them satisfying. I automatically started thinking of things they would taste good in. They have 8 grams of fiber, but only 1 gram of protein, so you have to add some type of protein to them if you use them as a main dish. I don't know if this brand is particularly good or not, since this is the first time I've bought gnocchi. I bought a 6 pack, but I don't think I want to give any away.
