 This batch was old - wait for the new stuffOct 13, 2011

I ordered this a few days ago and when it arrived, I was so excited that I cooked up a batch of it right away. However, it tasted like it was really old. Whole wheat pasta doesn't last as long as non-whole-wheat, and I think it had gone rancid. Because Amazon doesn't take returns of grocery items, they were, luckily, able to issue me a refund, but I do not recommend buying this product until they get a new batch in.

I've been shopping around for pasta (which I love) that's whole wheat (which I'm not so in love with). I've found it. Good taste & great nutrition. Works well with just a little pesto, or, works well with just a little butter, or works well with loads of cheese, or works well with tomato sauce. It's good no matter how you decide to fix it. Will definitely keep buying this product.

Less than $2 a bag, it's hard to beat. I have bought the Racconto Rigatoni before and when I saw these, hard to find in whole wheat, I jumped on it. The taste and quality are there. I even like the attention to the packaging. It has an easy, resealable top which makes life easy. In summer I use the bowties for summer pasta salad--not to mention that my 5-yr-old granddaughter loves butterflies, and farfalle is Italian for "butterfly." She looks forward to eating this when she's here for a playdate! She's also allergic to dairy, eggs, peanuts and this is safe for her to eat.

This is a superior pasta. Cooks up wonderfully.
I was not familiar with this brand when I ordered them, but I'm a fan for life now!
I love whole wheat pasta, and it is so difficult to find in my local grocery stores, which is why I am so grateful to have a resource like Amazon.com!
