One of the most delicious whole-wheat pastas you can buyApr 18, 2009

In our seemingly never-ending quest for healthier foods, my wife and I located a recent newspaper review of the whole wheat pasta products from a variety of makers, both American and Italian. Racconto pastas, made by an old Italian firm, were consistently rated the highest in the review for flavor, texture, and overall quality taste, as good as any processed wheat pastas but with the added benefits of high fiber and nutrition and a lower gycemic index. We ordered several of the Raccontol whole wheat pastas from Amazon (spaghetti, rigatoni, fetuccini, and cappelini/angel hair) and found all of them to be delicious, far superior to the cardboard taste of other whole wheat pastas. I just happen to be partial to good angel hair pasta. Racconto whole wheat pastas have now become standard fare at our dinner table.

Tastes soooo good, bought 20 boxes for my parents, so it's always on hand when it's time for spagetti! Cooks fast, tastes much better than other whole wheat angel hair pasta. Can't always find in grocery stores, thus the reason to buy in bulk!
