I have tries this RK packets first time and it was very quite Delicious and tasty. It was good for a low sodium diet. I added few fresh vegetables like green peppers and french beans had it with curds.

I bought this on the 50% sale and I am happy I tried them. I gave some to my folks whom both need low sodium foods, and they love it so much they will be buying themselves.
If you are addicted to salt then you can add some for more flavor. But the mix is very tasty and natural!

I ordered the variety pack which came with six different varieties. I tried the Cuban Rice & Lentil mix first. I made it in a rice cooker, just dumped it in, added water & olive oil, stirred it and turned it on. It cooked perfectly and was very tasty, good and spicy. I would recommend to others, especially if they get in on the 50% rebate offered this month!

I love Cuban food but I can't say I'd buy this again. I loved the fact that it was low sodium but there wasn't much flavor at all. I was expecting a hint of spice or something, nothing. I've had to add add'l seasonings to make it work better. I'm glad I bought it on sale.

We bought the variety pack and have tried several of the flavors. Besides having mold inside the plastic in several boxes, the spices taste bleh. Choose a different brand if you have discriminating tastes.
