but the clam pieces are small, few, & tough. Colavita White Clam Sauce also has a nice flavor, but not as good as the Progresso Seafood White Clam Sauce. if you want a ton of very tender clams buy the Colavita White Clam Sauce and add the juice from the Progresso Seafood White Clam Sauce.

This product is excellent. Just boil some spagetti and microwave the clam sauce in a glass covered container and you have dinner in 15 minutes
Be sure to cover the clam sauce in the microwave, or it explodes on you and makes a mess.

My husband and I love this clam sauce. When we moved to NC l8 years ago none of the stores carried this brand. Checked the grocery department at Amazon and lo and behold there it was. Always buy my clam sauce from you. It is really tasty and has a lot of clams in it. Hope you never stop carrying this brand of clam sauce.

My mom has been making pasta with this for years - ever since I can remember. It is a really great sauce on its own with a little red pepper and parmesean. I also use it as a base for pasta dishes with shrimp or scallops and doctor it up a little bit with some fresh parsley and cheese.
It is a great deal since the cost per can is nearly half compared with my local grocery. I will definitely buy this again as it has become a pantry staple for me.

Progresso has changed hands a couple of times. I remember when Progress Clam sauce was great! It used to come in bottles with GREAT ingredients. THEN, they came out with a canned version with terrible ingredients but STILL made the superior sauce in the bottle. They now did away with the superior bottled sauce and only sell this canned version. The bottled clam sauce still had the great indredients and no chemicals like MSG etc.
Their present canned variety is horrible. The old one had ALL Olive Oil, not just a little added so that they can say it on the label. The old version did NOT have MSG and all the other chemicals that this one has. Brand Loyalty is a bad thing to fall into.
This is NOT the Progresso Clam sauce of old. It sucks!
