An easy breakfast on the run!May 25, 2010
By ChibiNeko
"Sooo many books, so little time!"
I'll be honest. Unless I have the day off or someone makes it for me, I usually don't stop for breakfast. I just don't have the time, more often than not. Since I'll get draggy before lunchtime if I don't eat, I've been trying various pre-packaged ready to eat breakfast items such as this one.
Here's my conclusion on these:
Taste: For something that you get in a box, it isn't bad. It won't ever replace home baked cookies, but it is yummy enough that I've bought a few boxes of this. They can be a teensy bit bland on occasion, though.
Texture: Reasonably soft. It isn't soft-bake Tollhouse cookies, but again... for something that comes out of a box it's pretty soft- softer than many regular cookies out there. (Minus the ones made to be more chewy/soft.)
Hunger satisfaction: I was a little leery that this wouldn't satisfy my hunger & that I'd be snacking afterwards, but surprisingly, one cookie goes a long way to filling you up.
My conclusion is that while you may not want to make this a regular breakfast item, if you don't have a lot of time to get something more substantial, this is one of the better options out there. It's more healthy than eating a Pop-Tart, anyway.

Healthy as desserts goSep 09, 2008
By K. Bauer This cookie is great for my daily afternoon milk and cookie snack. My nutrition software frequently recommends it as a healthy addition to the day's food log, and this particular flavor is tasty enough for me to have in place of dessert. Not a substitute for real food, but I am very glad to have them in the house to keep me away from donuts, cake and regular cookies.

Great taste - very filling.May 18, 2009
By L. Krzykowski My kids love these - I got them for my daughters because they are always in a rush on their way to school. They grab these for either before school or an in-between snack.
