 If you hate milk, this is perfect!Feb 28, 2011

So I personally hate that milky taste and find it difficult to down something like muscle milk. I like that you dont have to chug a large amount of formula. It's fast and easy. The taste to be honest, taste like melted jello thats been out in the sun but still better than that thick milky taste. Personally i like jello so the taste isnt even that bad. I like it for the most part. As tasty as protein is gonna get. I recommend it.

I barely write reviews online but I gotta say this is the worst tasting protein shot ever!!! I disagree with other reviews on this product. It's absolutely disgusting. Don't buy 12 or 24 package. I recommend you buy just one vial first and decide. I bought the individual one from Bed Bath and Beyond (a health & beauty care department, HBC). I will stick with Body Fortress Super Whey Protein Shot or Inner Armour Nitro-Peak 50XTM Liquid Protein Shot.

This is a great product. The taste is good, with no aftertaste - much better tasting than the brand carried at Walmart. Better unrefridgerated. High in protein and easy to drink, plus free shipping. I have it on a subscription alternating months with another flavor every two months.

I was initially lured by the low calorie (100 cal), high protein (25 g), small volume (3 ounce) content of this product. Well, first I was disappointed to find that the primary protein source in this "beverage" isn't whey or even casein, but collagen. Blah. I wanted milk protein, not horse hooves and hair.
However, the thing that really makes this one-star is the taste. It is nothing short of abysmal. In the US, we are bombarded with artificial flavoring. It's everywhere, and many of us are used to the 'standard' artificial flavors. Having said that, this product is the most artificial-tasting "food" I've had in my entire life. It is not dissimilar to the kind of artificial flavoring they dump into liquid prescription medicine to make it palatable; it is just far worse than that. It is like this company set out not to make a protein drink, but to make the most foreign tasting, sickly sweet, mildly pungent, sharp and biting artificial flavor known to man. And if that was their intention, they have greatly succeeded. However, if they wanted people to like the taste, blah. The flavor is labeled "Fresh Citrus Berry", but I really think "Biting Alien Sugar" is more accurate.
I really can't force myself to drink it, and now I've got 12 of the buggers.
