Tastes great AND all natural!Sep 15, 2011
By D. B. Cohen I have tried several brands of protein shots (and powders). This one is the best tasting by far! I have tried another flavor of this brand, but prefer the clear rasberry the best. I have issues with lactose/dairy consumption and I do not have a problem with this product. It is made with natural ingredients, which is an added benefit. Some protein shots are thick and taste like cough syrup - not this one! It goes down easily and tastes great. I'd recommend giving it a "shot" and see what you think!

Tastes great. Mix with seltzer or water if too sweetFeb 02, 2012
By EQReader High protein is the only diet that works for me. I have tried almost every type of protein shake and, for me, the best milky-tasting ones are Premier Nutrition, available here on Amazon and also in Costco, and the Pure Protein cans available here on Amazon and also at Trader Joe's. Optimum Nutrition also makes a pretty good casein-based shake.
But all of these are milky tasting and slow to digest and, frankly, subject to extreme flavor fatigue.
I saw these Proasis protein shots at Rite Aid, bought one, chugged it down in the parking lot to see if it was any good, and then went back in and bought all 12--their entire stock.
Look, it's not like it tastes like the best fruit-flavored drink you've every tasted in your life, but it sure doesn't taste like any other protein shake or bar that I've ever tried.
Plus, I don't know what they did to make this happen, but this protein seems to be immediately available, and I get energy from it almost immediately. And, truly, I'm not as hungry. I have noticed cravings for carbs going down all by themselves! Pretty cool. And so far, these have caused zero stomach upset or bloating or dry-mouth, or any of the things that happen to me after those other shakes. Maybe it's because this protein is basically hypoallergenic.
What I love about these shots, is mixing them with a full can of plain seltzer, to make a protein-rich fruity spritzer. And then I can have a little ordinary-looking snack with my protein-rich spritzer to sip along the way and this is just a huge improvement over a thick chocolatey shake.
What I hate about them is they're expensive. And seriously overpackaged! But maybe that will change. After all, they're new.
Not as much protein as I was hopingApr 17, 2012
By Sashhadi Very disappointed as I just opened my box of deliveries and saw that these shots only have 25 grams of protein and they have 5 grams of carbs and 5 grams of sugar which defeats the purpose of why I was purchasing them for my specific diet. I guess I got confused as I was viewing so many of these shots and most of them had 42-45 grams of protein and 0 carbs. Not sure how I missed it but now I have these shots at home and they are going to waste :-( Wish the title was more clear in regards to the ingredient!
