 Actually Cleans Your Laundry While Being Safe For The EnvironmentJan 05, 2008

Due to my daughter being born with very sensitive, eczema-prone skin, I spent a lot of time over the past year looking for and testing gentler products and cleaners. At the same time, my family was attempting to become just a little more "green" -- in large part to keep her immediate environment safe.
It was about that time I came across a story on Washington Post where they tested of all the major (and a few minor) earth-friendly detergents. This one rated tops, so I decided to give it a try. Low and behold, the stuff actually works (unlike the 7th Generation products I tested earlier). Not only did switching to this detergent make a huge difference in the number and severity of her flare ups, it actually CLEANED her perpetually pea-stained clothes (all while being gentle on the environment). Just as promising, I found that a little goes a long way, making the price difference from a standard Tide or equivalent detergent something I could swallow.

I use this detergent to wash cloth diapers because it contains no enzymes, perfumes, or brighteners. It does a good job on tough stains and it's not harmful to the environment.

This detergent does a great job on laundry. Works well on heavily soiled loads, in both cold and hot water. We use it in a front loading washer. Economical and comparatively environmentally friendly. Great overall!

- preferably eligible for Amazon's subscribe and save
This detergent met them all. We've gone through several boxes so far and have been happy with the results. The finer-than-typical powder dissolves quickly seems to be doing a good job on the clothes.

This detergent is great for cloth diapers, as it does not contain any additives, brighteners or fragrance. It's gentle on baby's skin, but still gets the diapers really clean & doesn't leave any buildup so they stay absorbent and leak-free. Also, you can't beat the "subscribe & save" price!
