 Don't meet the ASMBS recommendationsJul 18, 2011

Sadly, those these are readily available, they don't meet the recommendations of the ASMBS organization (sanctioning body for Centers of Excellence) and they fall short by FAR. Can't upload their pdf but you can find the guidelines if you go to their website [...], click on the "resources" link (currently- left hand side of the screen, then scroll down till you see Nutritional guidelines. Page 6 & 7 have a chart but the entire guide is a good read. Long & short of it, If you do choose to use these anyway- you need double their packaging dosing and note you'll be missing some key nutrients.

I have been using these vitamins since having weightloss surgery two years ago (6/10). I do also take extra iron, calcium and of course the sublingual b12 as instructed by my drs. So far labs have always come back great everything is staying balanced and I have lose 150Lbs. I have two bottles shipped every two months so get the reduced price. I like that you take four a day. I spread them out through out the day and feel that that alows me to absorb them better. I have tried some other brands and had issues with the taste and/or texture and still had to add extra iorn and calcium so came back to these.

I began taking these 4 1/2 years ago when I had by gastric bypass surgery. I lost 185 lbs and each year when I have my blood tested all my vitamin/mineral needs are 100%. I like the taste and the convenience of them.

OPTISOURCE Post Bariatric Vitamins sold through Amazon at a good price. Exactly what I needed. It is a cost that is about what I pay from the surgeon.

My hubands doctor prescribed these vitamins for his post baratric surgery. The vitamins taste good which is very important as my husband has to take four daily. The price through Amazon's suscriber service is the best I have found.
