Convenient cuban style beansJan 03, 2007
By solyplaya Although the package says this is a soup, we prepare it and pour it over white rice for a delicious and easy cuban style side dish. The taste is fresh and the texture creamy. Add some shredded cheese for a satisfying soup high in fiber and calcium.

This soup rocks!Apr 04, 2012
By Lisa Piotrowski So happy to find this soup. The taste is unbelievably good. Having been recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I cannot eat anything with gluten. I love soup, and was so happy to find this one which not only is gluten-free, but tastes incredible. I planning on buying and trying all of them!
Tastes Really GoodMar 12, 2009

This soup is very good. It's easy to fix--just add water--and olive oil if you want. It's done cooking in 30 minutes. What could be easier. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the soup seemed a little thin compared to the home made bean soups I make. The flavor is really good, however. I might add a can of red beans to the mixture next time to give it more body.

The Nueva Cocina dried bean products (Red Bean Soup) are wonderful. A simple matter to prepare, of course, and once cooked they're far better than anyone could even begin to imagine they'd be. We eat them often and recommend them highly.
