This is one of my favorite products from Nueva Cocina. This is some of the most authentic tasting Cuban food that can be prepared in under 30 minutes. It tastes like it took hours to make, I can't believe someone was able to create this taste from a box. Very unique flavor. I love this product! I really love this rice and beans mix because not only does it taste great, but it has so much flavor and is easy to make at home. I love that the rice cooks up light and flavorful and the beans are a great addition for the perfect pairing. I use this as a side dish to many meals because it tastes so good!

I'm a big fan of Nueva Cocina soups but was disappointed with this. Doesn't have the kick of the soups, but the texture was good. I liked it better cold.
